About the Author
Catherine Litvaitis is sixteen years old and an incoming junior at Our Lady of Mercy Academy (also known as OLMA) in Syosset, New York. She is an honors student who loves English—especially when it involves writing. Her love for writing has motivated her to join the staff of OLMA’s newspaper—the OLMANAC—this year, and it has sparked her newly found interest in journalism. She is a junior editor for that paper. Along with writing for the OLMANAC, she has been a part of her school’s news program—Mercy Morning News—and the OLMA Reverse-Shakespeare Company. Her favorite hobbies are playing guitar, listening to music, drawing, acting, and, of course, writing.
