About the Author
My name is Genesis Rodriguez and I am 17 years old. I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to New York in 2001. I adapted english pretty quickly and now I am a member of the Gateway Honors Program as well as the Jacob K. Javits Law institute in my school. I am also part of the Key Club. I have always enjoyed writing and getting to the truth of things which is why I would like to pursue a career as an investigative journalist. I love to travel, see new places and experience new traditions, culture and people. My path towards achieving my goal begins now.
